About Law Office of George Moschopoulos
GEORGE P. MOSCHOPOULOS, M.Sc., P.E., Esq George Moschopoulos received his Bachelors of Science (B.Sc.)
degree in Civil Engineering from Texas A&M University in College Station, TX where he graduated with distinction and as a member of the Chi Epsilon Civil Engineering Honors Society. From there, he pursued and completed his Masters of Science (M.Sc.) degree from the Structural Engineering, Mechanics and Materials Division of the Civil Engineering Department at the University of California, Berkeley.
Upon graduating from the University of California, Berkeley, Mr. Moschopoulos was employed by one of the largest publicly traded heavy civil contractors in the United States where he served as a Project Engineer on both private and public works.
He continued his career by taking a position with a top 100 specialty contractor, as published by the Engineering News Record. At this company, which offered both engineering design and construction services, Mr. Moschopoulos rose to and served as the Engineering Manager for their primary West Coast branch office.
Eventually, Mr. Moschopoulos accepted a position at a structural engineering design firm where he was a Project Manager on a variety of private works projects from single and multi-family tract developments to mixed use commercial projects.
Building on his construction and design experience, in 2005 Mr. Moschopoulos founded Moschopoulos Group Engineering, Inc. (MGE), a growing structural engineering firm that offers design services for residential, commercial and industrial facilities throughout the West Coast of the United States.
While gaining design and construction experience, Mr. Moschopoulos realized the value of understanding the complex legal issues which can and often arise on construction projects. He pursued and received his Juris Doctor degree (cum laude) from Whittier Law School in Costa Mesa, CA where he was the recipient of many awards for academic excellence.
It was a natural culmination of construction, design and legal experience that led Mr. Moschopoulos to begin his law practice by formally opening the Law Offices of George P. Moschopoulos which focuses on serving the construction industry.
